MLK Sunday Banquet postponed

After giving serious consideration to the impending weather coming to our area and potential impact to our attendance, we have decided to postpone our event to our snow date on Sunday, February 24th at 1:00pm.  We are in the process of notifying all guests, local agencies and university offices of our new date.

At this point, we plan to proceed with all Monday events as listed on the Commission calendar, including the March leaving at 5:00PMfrom the UNC Progressive Center, 414 Olive St.We will be joined by US Congressman Matt Cartwright for the march, and DA Mark Powell and Judge Barrasse at the courthouse.  Please bundle up and make every effort to attend. If this should change, we will notify the group by email.
