The President of the Scranton Area Ministerium is an ex officio member of the Greater Scranton Martin Luther King Commission.  

 

The Ministerium sponsors the Interfaith Service that concludes each January's activities for the Martin Luther King Weekend and participates in the other activities planned by the Commission.

• SAM will sponsor a table at the MLK Awards Banquet on Sunday February 24, 2019, at the DeNaples Student Center of the University of Scranton, from 2:00 - 5:30 PM.

• SAM will also sponsor the Interfaith Service that concludes the MLK Weekend,  It will be held at Bethel AME Church, 718 N. Washington Avenue in Scranton, beginning at 7:00 PM on Monday February 25, 2019.
